I am always looking for new recipes to add to my list of go-to meals that my whole family will eat. Because I am obsessed with Indian food, I have fed my family more than their fair share of random Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Indian-Flavored chicken recipes. It was a little bit like Goldilocks: one recipe lacked enough flavor, another was too spicy and others were just blah. But, we finally found a recipe that is JUST RIGHT. This recipe for Indian Chicken cooked in a crock pot is amazingly simple and full of delicious flavor. My entire family raves every time I make it, which at this point is once a week. Give it a try, you won’t regret it!
And because I am rather predictable, our April phone wallpapers are all about April showers. Who wants to place bets that May involves flowers? Much to my delight, we’ve had a few thunderstorms this past week in Japan. I just love the sound of rain and hearing the thunder crack reminds me so much of goring up in Ohio. In other words, no shame in my April showers game.
Easter is officially around the corner which means if you haven’t started holiday prepping… what are you waiting for? But, don’t worry, we have you covered. First up on our agenda is the 2017 Kid + Kin Easter Basket Goodie Guide. We even have a check list to help you put together a well-rounded, parent-approved Easter Basket that will delight kiddos Easter morning.
It’s my turn to give you the long and short version of what I’ve been up to the past couple weeks. I have to admit I was really looking forward to writing this post again. Well, at least now that my family has recovered from being taken out one by one in a nasty (but mercifully short) stomach bug.
