We’re headed back to school and this year we’re taking Mac! Back to School with Mac is a new and fun family tradition that we’ll enjoy for years to come!

If you’re looking for a fun back to school tradition, Mac is here for you! Back to School with Mac is similar to Elf on the Shelf, but for school!

With my little guy starting preschool this fall, we’ve been talking about school a lot around here lately. Most of all, we want back to school time to be exciting, and not stressful, even though we know it can make kids nervous. This is where the Back to School With Mac tradition comes in. Mac is great for kids who are just starting school who might have first day jitters, but also works for any child going back to school.

Back to School With Mac

Mac is a cute plush apple who comes to your child at the end of summer to help celebrate going back to school! First, kick off your new family tradition by read the book with your child. Then, Mac and his magic come to life with some guidance from the parents!

Mac is a little bit mischievous and a lot of fun. As you and your family are getting ready for back to school, involve Mac in your activities – take Mac school supply shopping or bake an after school snack with him. Mac helps kids make the transition from summer to back to school just a little bit easier. Be sure to take a picture with your kiddo and Mac before school starts to remember your fun together!

Maybe Mac gets into mischief at your house, or brings a back to school surprise (fun erasers, pencils, book). The magic varies from family to family. In our house, Mac likes to write encouraging, silly and fun messages to the kids on the chalkboard. Mac helps make getting ready for back to school more fun and exciting for kids!

My 8 year old was just as excited to have Mac come visit us. She volunteered to be the one to read the Back to School with Mac book to my little guy.

It was so cute to see the excited look on his face as she was reading about Mac’s adventures. The excitement of Mac helped ease his back to school jitters and even got my daughter in a good back to school mood. No matter the grade, Mac is there to help make back to school fun!

This is a lovely back to school tradition. I love incorporating books into my family’s traditions. Something to pass down to the grandkids.

That sounds like a great book to encourage kids to be more excited about school and less intimidated by the idea! I think it’s really nice especially for those who are going to school for the first time.

This is super cute! We love when our Elf visits, and if my daughter were younger, I’d make sure that Mac came too!

I wish I had this book a few weeks ago when Madison was getting a little nervous about going to school for the first time! We did good on the first day but this book would have made her more excited!

What a great tradition. I love the idea of incorporating a story and Mac into your child’s back-to-school prep. It will give them something to look forward to at the end of summer.
